arrive - ирэх
go - явах
come
- Generally speaking, we use "come" when taking about the place where we are right now. for example: I came to this class because i want to learn how to play the piano ( Right now, i am at the class) --- би төгөлдөр хуур тоглохын хүссэн учраас би энэ хичээл рүү ирсэн (энэ нь яг одоо байгаа газартаа тэндээс ирсэн гэсэн санааг гаргаж байгаа гэсэн үг)
- between two person for example:
B: Okay, sure. That would be great. i can come to your house at 7:00 tonight.
In this case, person A uses “come” because they are inviting someone to spend time with
them at their home. In these cases, we always use “come”. Person B also uses “come”
because they are speaking directly to the person whose home they will spend time at.
arrive
жишээ нь i arrived in Taiwan. i arrived at home
Go
- assumed that there are two person who talk to each other. if one person is talking about another person position not the other person position, we use "go".
A: Do you want to see a movie with me tonight?
B: I'm sorry, but i can't. i have to go to my friend's house for dinner at 7:00
tonight.
difference between come and arrive
- The words are not synonyms. 'Come' means 'move in the direction of the speaker and/or listener'. 'Arrive' means 'finish coming (or going)'.
