easier & more easy and more easier & easier and much more easy

more easier &  easier
(Is it bad grammar to use "more easier" in a sentence?)

  • Yes, easier is the only word you need. More easier doesn't make sense.

  • Yes, it's redundant(хэрэггүй). Easier already means more easy, so you wouldn't say more easier.

  • yes it is you should just say it is easier to do this not more easier!lol but it's okay i have a lot of "hickish" friends so i'm used to it!lol bye! supernatural goddess

  • Usually . Just use ' easier ' . Leave out the ' more ' .
    One example , where it's O.K. is :-

I could love you " more . Easier " said than done !

easier & more easy
(My conversation teacher told us that the adjectives that end in -y like easy, healthy, friendly... can have to forms for comparison: more + adj or adj + er ending. I always thought that only the latter was correct....)

 much more easy
(Hi Everyone!I'm trying to figure out if it is grammatically correct to say: Much more easy or if it is better to say: Much easier

This is the context:
The system is able to be saved with comments on each tag within the controller, making it much more easy to understandThanks!!!)

  • You can say much more easy, but is grammatically incorrect.

    You should use much easier.

  • "making it much easier to understand" is correct.

  • You can say either one in everyday speech. Do not worry.

  • Much easier is correct. Much more easy sounds horrible.
